Grown in the high-altitude region of Worka Chelbesa, Danche thrives in one of Ethiopia’s most renowned coffee-producing environments. Shaded by dense, semi-forested vegetation, these coffee plants benefit from nutrient-rich soil and an ideal microclimate. At SNAP Specialty Coffee’s wet mill, cherries are meticulously selected and fermented in ceramic tanks, which retain heat to accelerate fermentation and enhance clarity in the final cup. The result is an elegant and refined washed-process coffee, with delicate black tea-like body, floral aromatics, and vibrant pomegranate sweetness.
